Welcome to the 4th Annual Top Gun Classic --Play were the competition is -- Ohio's Best Run and Highest Quality July 4th Tournament. Last year we did not run the 15u - 18u age groups -- only 9u - 14u. This year the 15u - 18u ages have returned so we will have 8U - 18U and make this the best event ever.

As with all Team Sports events the tournament will be well organized with timely communication, be played at quality facilities, and have the top umpires in youth baseball, sanctioned and assigned through the Game Hogz Umpiring School.

8U - 10U age groups will have a 3 game minimum. All other age groups 11U - 18U will have a 4 game minimum -- Umpire fees are included in the entry fee. Teams will be required to supply game balls -- 1 new and 1 used to start each game - they will be returned.

8U- 14U will play will play at Kent State University's Allerton Complex, Barberton's Foundation Fields along with Cascade Valley Park in Akron.

Play will start on Thursday - July 4th for most age groups with Championship Games set for Sunday July 7th. We assume most people will have July 5th off work - if that is not the case we will make scheduling arrangements.

The 14u 60/90 - 18U age groups will play at fantastic host sites - Thurman Munson Stadium, Kent State University and local High School Fields in the Akron / Canton area Barberton HS, Woodridge HS, Firestone HS, Massillon HS, Walsh Jesuit HS.

We do plan to have a Player Showcase on Thursday morning for all age groups. This Showcase will be a Collegiate / Pro Showcase run by Domination Baseball and will be advertised to college and area scouts. Players will get a written evaluation and video opportunity to use in their pursuit of a college scholarship.

Individual and Team Trophies ( large team trophies ) for 1st and 2nd place.
